I've been paying too much to the spoilers and allowing the spoilers to glaze over what I'm actually seeing...until tonight. Tonight, I saw three girls have a meltdown and it hasn't been their first. Tonight I saw a very distanced Brad. Much like the first season. As much as I adore all the remaining woman. I just don't see it.
As for Emily, I have a hunch she wants/needs someone different than Brad. We'll see. I've been wrong before.
Actually it was VERY intense after Chantal told Brad that she loved him. Rewatch or look at the screencap thread. The moment was highly edited but they couldn't hide the emotion there. I agree though, with Shawntell, last night, there was nothing.
Re: Tabloid rumors **possible SPOILERS**
Regarding the dumbdumberanddior page - after about 5 minutes of web research, I found the following
1. The dumbdumberanddior page was created (according to godaddy) February 2nd, 2011.
2. There are a couple of insignificant posts that date before February 2nd, 2011, but on that day is the first mention of Brad.
3. On that post, one of the girls mentions a friend who dated him on and off for a few years, and how it would be really interesting to see what she thought of his season.
4. The other girl doesn't seem to know him, but mentions that she only knows what he's like by reading US Weekly.
All of that happened just a few short weeks before this edition was released - what, by mere coincidence?
Maybe so, but I'm of the opinion that these "friends" are either made up, are doing their friend Laurel a solid by trashing someone they honestly don't know, or are trying to ride whatever wave they think will be created by this. Either way, I think it's a sham and makes me believe Brad's story more than anything else.
Re: Tabloid rumors **possible SPOILERS**
I saw the screen shots of the texts between Brad and Laurel and I think there's a good chance they could have been fabricated ...I think it's even possible for a person to have the phone set the date to april x, 2010 and just receive texts with the content to their phone then take screen shots of them... pretty simple! we only see one response which is an emoticon :biglove or something like it...I'm not placing any bets on these texts being real at this point.
Re: Tabloid rumors **possible SPOILERS**
Brad hasn't come out and say the texts weren't real - only that the contents have been embellished. If they weren't real, I believe, he would've said so.

I don't know if I'm placing my best on Brad saying the texts are fake either. He said he wanted to take the high-road...possibly not nitpick about all the details to say they are false :shrug all I'm saying is, it would be as easy as setting the date on a phone and sending texts to it from some line -- that is saved as 'B W' on that receiving phone. there's no reason for me to believe these texts are real at this point - it's pure speculation to me.

Emusha...I think you need to accept the fact the texts are real. Laurel was paid to do the interview. Why would US Weekly pay someone to give them fake texts? They could just make them up themselves for free and avoid the hassle. That makes no sense. Just like Ed's gf's texts and emails were legitimate, so were Laurel's. I just don't think they were as bad as RS made them out to be, which is why I believe he wants an interview with her. Either he's seen more texts, or knows there are others just as bad. I don't think we've heard the last of her.

Interesting how we all have different perceptions. I read the blog and felt it sounded pretty real. Supposedly Laurel was at this girl's place when she received some of the e-mails. (Remember one had Brad saying, "When you get back....")

I don't have a clue who could be behind fabricating texts - all I am saying is it's a process that's as basic as an elementary school kid to be able to do it. if i am being asked to prove the merit of this whole story beyond reasonable doubt based on these texts - i'm not gonna be able to do it. basically i'm taking everything with a grain of salt including these tabloid stories, texts, spoilers, edits etc. I am not placing any bets on any of it being 'the truth' until it all plays out and maybe not even then :shrug
Re: Tabloid rumors **possible SPOILERS**
The texts are real. For sure.
Either one of these two things happened:
1. Once Brad realized that Laurel had cut him off, Brad gave into his feelings for one of the show's women.
2. During HTDs, Brad realized that his relationship with one of the women meant more than pursuing someone who didn't want him. So he gave up on Laurel.
We're not going to get an answer to which one it is unless Brad says so.
Bottom line: He fell in love this season. Trust that.
