OMG Ashley H is next BAchette??!!! Wow, northern maine will get some exposure, and maybe western NB can too, as she did study dance here. This is great news for these small localities if this is true. I'm happy for her, but I hope at the same time that this doesn't mean that she will not be completing her studies to become a dentist, but will only put it on hold. She is almost done with her studies.

I didn't follow Brad's season, but I did watch the HTD's and Ashely's family came across as very down to earth, just a good, wholesome, happy family. I'm very happy for her, and for them. A lead on a national primetime tv show, that is something when you come from such a small place. Congratulations, la girl!

I think Ashley H is a great choice! Remember the outtake after Anguilla where Chantal and Shawntel snuck up on her sleeping and scared her? Funny!

She's high energy and emotional and cute as a dickens. I think she kinda got lost this season and for Brad with all the drama surrounding Emily's storyline and Chantal and Michelle. However, she and Brad were sweet together and I wonder if she wasn't his original F2 and whatever happened in South Africa changed his mind.

I imagine she will be doing a lot of travelling with her suitors on the show, as was the case with Ali and Jill. But I do hope we get to see more of her hometown when the guys meet her family. I'm happy that we have a lead that her background story is neither sad, nor tragic. Just a bubbly, happy, small town girl, who is beautiful and intelligent.

Don't forget her boyfriend that died just shortly before she came on the show this season. No mention was made of it on the show because it wasn't needed for her storyline. I wonder if they will mention it next season.

I've been wondering if we'll hear about it at all - it would have to come on Monday - so I doubt it will come. Maybe she was their choice when they realized Emily wasn't going to be able to do what needed to be done to have her own season.

I agree. If you haven't brought it up yet, why do it on a fantasy date?

I was waiting for it to come out during the HTDs - maybe a sib or parent mentioning it or something -but since it hasn't come out, I don't expect it to. Which is so very odd, given the amount of contestants this season that they did highlight has having deceased loved ones. and the Group date meltdown she had, was supposedly about her dead b/f - it would've been nice to have that context.

could be they just didnt' want everyone in the F4 to have death related edits - or they knew in January they were going with Ashley as the next 'Ette and decided to leave it out completely.
