    Re: Bachelor 15 Named

I think there is a strong possibility that the RC after the HTD was in NYC and that is the jumpng off point, not LAX. I have no substantiation for it ecept that Chris Harrison was still in NYC. He was also wishing Andy and Ryan good luck with the NYC Marathon tomorrow.

How funny that someone saw one of the bachelorettes at the airport in St Marten on the 26th. My tour brought me right by it that day. Unfortunately I didn't see Brad or anyone else in any of my stops that week.

I'm also glad that Chris L isn't TB this time but because I don't have faith in the choices TPTB made and also because rumor has it that he may have already found someone.

Basseterre, St. Kitts (November 10, 2010) – From October 27th to November 2, St. Kitts was host to Ms. Lisa Singer, who was visiting the island to evaluate its suitability as a potential location for filming upcoming episodes of hit reality shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette as well as a new show entitled Destination Green that focuses on the environment and eco-responsible practices.
“We were absolutely thrilled that Ms. Singer has chosen to pay a visit to our island and consider it as a filming location for these popular TV shows,” said Mrs. Rosecita Jeffers, CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority. “This is a clear indication that, although our new resort developments have yet to fully open, St. Kitts is already becoming more competitive on a world-class level with tourist destinations across the globe and that our strategic plans for the island’s tourism product are succeeding.”
Working closely with the island’s North American PR firm, the St. Kitts Tourism Authority ensured that Ms. Singer enjoyed a complete destination experience while on island.

Her itinerary included such activities as ziplining, kayaking, snorkeling, mountain biking and a full day hike up the Mount Liamuiga to the summit caldera crater lake. Ms. Singer visited numerous island attractions including Brimstone Hill, Black Rocks, Caribelle Batik, Clay Villa Plantation and Basseterre including Port Zante. She dined at a variety of restaurants where she sampled a mix of international flavors and local cuisine.
Further, Ms. Singer was accommodated in three different island hotels and visited several others during her stay.
Upon her departure, Ms. Singer indicated that she was delighted with her experience of St. Kitts and thought it to have excellent prospects for becoming a location for a various TV shows. Her promotion of the island has already included multiple posts to her Facebook account, which has over 2,000 friends.

Not sure if she was looking for locations for this season or future seasons.

For what it's worth (off season boredom, make work project) Lisa C Singer twittered (account of same name) about this trip to St Kitts, posted a couple of lovely photos, and per tweets said that she was location scouting for some eco/green show. Either way, it strikes me as way too late in the game to be for Brad's season? Her work for The Bachelor/ette has been casting, not scouting, in the past. That said, St Kitts/Nevis is lovely! I want to know what ever happened to the Bitter End yacht club and Virgin Gorda which was scouted for Jason's season! I guess New Zealand made a better offer!

    They've already used:
    Tahiti (Ali)
    St Lucia (Jake)
    Spain & Hawaii (Jillian)
    New Zealand (Jason)
    Barbados (Deanne)
    Cabo San Lucas (Brad)
and have been reported to be in Costa Rica and St. Martin/Aguilla so far this season. Just speculating, but Fiji, maybe? The Fijian govt has been doing some promoting over the past year so they may have approached the Bachelor. It's also almost summer in Australia. Panama has been adding a lot of resort properties lately. Nothing from any of the crew contacts??
    Barbados (Matt)
    Bahamas (DeAnna)

ETA: I would love another New Zealand-like FD/FRC. I thought NZ was sooooo beautiful! The beach FDs have gotten old and seem alike to me no matter where they are. The lush greenery of NZ was breathtaking, but it was raining and cold at the time. Brrrrrr!

If anyone is in the mood for a guess for LCD destination, I'm thinking Thailand or something in SE Asia.

I'm far from "making it up," but it's not my usual rock solid info either.

But let's face it ... it's slow around here.

Considering past contestants as well as Ali and Roberto have mentioned Thailand as a desirable spot for honeymooning, I wouldn't consider Thailand as out of the question as a place of interest for the producers. The country must have lots to offer.
