After a lot of looking, much hesitation and considerably pondering, I guess I’ll take a stab at this. I’m really not sure where the interview took place, but ...
I think the flowers in the sc might be from Costa Rica. These images of pink ginger and heliconia are from Costa Rica:
The foliage over Brad’s left shoulder might be bamboo palm – also native to Costa Rica where it’s called pacaya – apparently. Here are a couple of examples:
The vase on the dresser could certainly be from the same part of the world, as could the wicker chair that Brad’s is sitting on. (I found plenty of examples of in Costa Rican hotels).
The sc of the interview room doesn’t give much away, but the curtains and dresser could match this place:
If all of this is right, then Brad conducted this interview at the Guanamar Hotel, Carrillo Beach, Costa Rica. It’s a stunning, although somewhat remote place, on the Pacific Coast (the air strip is something to behold)
All a little speculative, but it's my best guess.
Gotta luv camera phones. Based on what we know about hometown dates....and hair...that should ID about three of the final 6.
