I would not be a happy camper... She must really love this guy not to run screaming! Although, I have to wonder if this was kinda a final push of adrenaline - manipulation by TPTB to cement their bond and ensure proposal - Emily's dates seem beyond tame in comparison, reminds me of all the beach dates for Roberto. OTOH, A/R had stingrays, that Ali was afraid of ...so mix of both?

i do recall that ali had a skijets date but we could not see this episode because the producers priviledges jake and vienna drama on air.

I thought ChrisL had the beach and Roberto the fun but I agree that in Ali's season I did not see much adrenaline. I remember jason and ??? with the sharks??? Was it with Deanna?

I remember a recent comment from Brad this week saying that at each fancy date he said to the girl that it was not his daily life at all... so me thinking that he picked the adrenaline fun parts with chantal to have fond memories later.........

Actually it makes me think he's just excited and about to cry from happiness of getting to propose - his eyes are teary but he looks like he's about to burst out

That also makes me think Emily's let go before that, because I don't see sadness in his eyes, and he WOULD be empathetic enough for that

here he has glassy eyes like he is very very emotional.

Yeah, I don't know what thought-process was going on here to give her this date. It would scare any normal person but someone who is afraid of water? To put her underwater in a cage with sharks swimming around? I guess they really wanted to see a meltdown, I wonder if she gave it to them.

I am afraid of spiders and no freaking way anybody alive would convince me to have one on me....

if she was that afraid of water, it would have taken much more than a couple of hours to convince her to get ride of it IMO

I am with you. I HATE roller coasters, ferris wheels etc. (basically open height) and for me you could put a million dollars in front of my face and the answer would still be ths same. NO way. I wish I could do it for sure. But having been teased into a roller coaster ride that by todays standards would be mighty weak and screaming and shaking through the whole ordeal (note I did not say ride). That would be a deal breaker for me.
