I thought Lacey was excellent in all of her routines last night, as she has been throughout the season.

Whether she's doing contemporary, broadway, quickstep, smooth waltz, hip-hop, latin jazz, samba, hustle, lindy hop, viennese waltz, or Wade's "fox"-trot, she's absolutely nailed the style, movement, and feel of every single dance she's been given. I don't think she's disappointed or held back a single choreographer this season!

She's not the best dancer- that's Danny, no question. But I would argue she's been the most versatile. Even though her self-designed solos have been relatively lame, her take on Wade's solo was worlds better than fellow partner dancer Pasha's.

ITA. Though I don’t think she’ll win – she’s just a tad too controversial – she’s been my favourite all through the Top 20 competition.

Last night, after Lacey got eliminated, I feel like we actually saw the real her. She was not mugging the camera and she wasn't hamming it up. She just had a nice sincere look on her face. I wish we would have seen more of that during the rest of the season.

Me too.
I thought I'd be pleased that she didn't win, but I was actually a bit teary-eyed.
I really didn't want her to win because I didn't think Benji deserved to win last year.
That's hardly Lacey's fault of course, so it was really unfair of me to root against her for that reason.
The mugging was irritating too though.
When you see her go from goofy girl to dancing so beautifully it really shows what a professional she is.

I thought Lacey was truly professional and consistently wonderful in her partnering. She exceeded her brother and suffered due to his undeserved win last season (Allison should have won). Lacey's solos were quite horrible but goodness she danced the hustle like nobody's business.

Two weeks ago David had a difficult time concentrating on the show because he had learned his brother’s condition had worsened. Despite his fragile state, Adam’s doctors allowed him to travel to the Idol show accompanied by a medic and a nurse.

“His brother came to town a few days ago, and he’s not in the best of shape and you can tell it’s affecting David and everything,” says dancer Lacey Schwimmer, of So You Think You Can Dance, who has stepped out with David recently. “But I think it’s a good thing that he’s here because it shows that his brother is still supporting him.”

Schwimmer adds: “He’s just really happy his brother is here.”

David Cook has his share of fans, but last Tuesday, the Idol rocker had a noticeably enthusiastic (and recognizable) supporter in the audience — Lacey Schwimmer, cousin to Friends star David and third place finisher on Fox’s summer hit So You Think You Can Dance.

Well, it turns out that the Idol contestant and the dancer have been spending a little more time together since hitting it off at Idol Gives Back.

“They have been hanging out a lot lately,” a rep for Schwimmer confirms to PEOPLE. “They did get very close during Idol Gives Back rehearsals,” but now (after a lukewarm performance last week), “he’s really trying to concentrate on the competition, so they’re taking things very slow.”

The pair recently hit Hollywood eatery Doughboy and found out they have something in common. “She surprised him by bringing him there,” a source tells PEOPLE. “He was like, ‘Did you read my fan blogs, because breakfast is my favorite meal?”

The restaurant, which serves breakfast all day long, is also a favorite of Schwimmer, who loves their signature red velvet cake. In fact, it’s “the way to Lacey’s heart,” the source adds. “If you want a date with her, that’s how.”

So do these two have a chance? “She has a lot of sass to her and she would throw her sass at David and he would throw it right back,” the source says. “They have this chemistry that really works … their humor just bounces right off each other.”

Schwimmer, who is recovering from knee surgery after the So You Think You Can Dance Tour, is currently filming a video with Keri Russell spoofing the YouTube show starring Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux. In the clip, Schwimmer and Hairspray Director Adam Shankman, a guest judge on SYTYCD last season, will battle The Miley & Mandy Show stars in a dance-off.

“This should be running by end of week,” says her rep.

Sugar and Bruno loves working with So You Think You Can Dance alumni. After Kameron Bink last Fall, Lacey Schwimmer has been mandated to create her own line of clothes, starting this may with the release of her series of tube socks. The collection has been announced to be the result of the creative collaboration between Lacey-Mae and Sugar and Bruno.

Simply called “Lacey–Mae by Sugar and Bruno,” the new line is schedule to hit on and off line stores this May. Lacey is at the same time the creative fairy, model and spokesperson of the new line. Just a few weeks before the new season of So You Think You Can Dance begins on Fox, the new dance wear brand definitely chose the right timing to announce this new partnership.

For Lacey, what matters is the reality of her new found passion. She told movmnt that “being on So You Think You Can Dance opened my eyes to a whole new side of ‘Lacey’. I can’t wait to have people see the new line. Not to mention that there is more to come soon.”

Lacey-Mae who now includes her full name to identify her brand will continue create for Sugar hoping to design a full clothing line under her signature. It seems like the public that loved Lacey for her hot Samba might also appreciate an other side of her as an artist

About her inspiration to create the line, the third runner up of last season’s SYTYCD reflected that she has “always been interest in arts. I painted a lot in my teens, made all my costumes, and loved shopping… so when Sugar and Bruno approached me, I said why not?! I’m known for wearing tube socks and Sugar and Bruno gave me the opportunity to design my own line. Wahoo!! Later on it will develop into a whole line. I cannot wait!
