Mary is supremely annoying. And not a very good judge when you do actually listen to her ... which is hard.

She is a mixed bag for me. She is a good judge when it comes to content but her manner gets to me by the end of the season. I enjoy her now except for her faking a bad take and then doing the fooled ya routine, just get to the content.

What was up this week? Her hair, dress, jewelry and cleavage was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. She looked like a cluttered gift shop.

I didn't mind the hair (I have naturally curly hair so that look works well for me) but the dress was a bit strange...maybe she and Paula Abdul have the same wardrobe person?

I think she looked great both nights this week too. I'm a fan and love her fun attitude and constructive critiques. I'd rather have her than a drunken Paula Abdul a la AI.

Funny you should say that ... she often reminds me of a drunken Paula.

The occasional fakeout can have some humor. But with her it's twice or 3 times a show - that's too much, it's no longer funny. And she needs to reserve her over-the-top screaming and "hot tamale" nonsense for TRULY great performances... the once or twice a season stuff. She is MUCH more geniune when she is calm yet emotional (like after Twitchington's dance).

I love Mary, love her cackle and enthusiasm BUT...I love her even more when she offers constructive criticism in a tone of voice that isn't screeching. Something other than WOOO HOOO! Hot tamale train! WOOO!

I've never had an issue with her hair, I think it's lovely and I've just learned to overlook her clothing choices much like I overlook and ignore what Paula wears.

Can't even watch this show, as long as Mary is on the panel. I used to enjoy watching this show, for the talent. It was bad enough enduring Nigel.

Where did she come from anyway? Never heard of her until she showed up on the show, with her inappropriate laughing and self-absorbedness, and fake, fake, fake smile. She's scary, actually. Scarier than Paula Abdul on that other show.

Or is it just me?

VelvetRed, Mary is a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, not Dancing With The Stars. Easy mistake to make.
