| Re: SYTYCD renewed for fourth season Harmony: My memory bank spits out Idol for that.... Gah!!!! I need to have my head examined..... Wishful thinking for audition rounds: We see the auditions of everyone who makes the show. That should take up some portion of the time alloted. Say, 60% of the time. Allow for commercials and time with Cat, and we're up to 75%. During 12% of the remaining time, would it hurt to show us really awesome moves from contestants who didn't have the stuff otherwise to make the show? Then the remaining 12 percent of the time should be really bad auditions. Not stupid bad, Really Bad. Well, that's never gonna happen. We will get 68% bad auditions. 12% good auditions from some small percentage of the people that make the show. 10% repeats during recaps and montages of the same small percentage of people that make the show. And twenty percent of commercials, Cat, intros and outros. Still my favorite show. But that would make it Legen-waitforit-dary! Countdown: 3 days!!!

| Re: SYTYCD renewed for fourth season Does anyone know if this is going to be available online this year? I seem to recall that Fox doesn't put their shows up online like alphabet networks do. I'm going to miss it on thursday and of course it is also Grey's season finale and can't tape both. ![]() Thinking I'll tape this and catch the other online.

| Re: SYTYCD renewed for fourth season Paraphrased since it is from an interview with Cat Deeley conducted at another site: Deeley says that the show is the same but bigger and better because the contestants are more savvy and now understand that its not always about the best technical dancer. Also they feel that if its not broken then why fix it. That the bar has been raised so the contestants have to be bigger and better in order to impress. This means that people spinning on their heads is so been there done that, that now they want people doing triple back somersaults and running up the walls. She also said that Mia Michaels has a chill inspiring routine and that Wade (YES!) has something special planned because they are both interested in repeating their prior Outstanding Choreography Emmy Awards. |

| Re: SYTYCD renewed for fourth season maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that if there is one thing that the past seasons have demonstrated, its that technique rules. Dancers with little training fall behind. fast. |

| Re: SYTYCD renewed for fourth season - Premieres May 22 Very sad to hear that Wade Robson isn't going to be around (I don't know where this was confirmed, but I'll take everyone's word for it). His routines by far are the most enjoyable part of the show. Not that the other choreographers are not good, but his stuff is just so unique. Loved Robert Muraine on the premiere. I hope he's not a one-trick pony. |
