I'm anxious to see whether TPTB paid attention to our comments from last season and will make the necessary changes in the show's format.
I hate the idea of set partners until one of them gets knocked out. That gives unfair advantages to some dancers and unfair disadvantages to others.
I want to see everyone exposed to all of the same dance types, but HOW? The fairest way for the dancers is to have all of them do the same dance type each week. Unfortunately that probably wouldn't be interesting to watch. If they had a Ballroom week, they could draw different types of ballroom dances, but are there enough choreographers to handle this? However, the other dance categories aren't as varied. hmmm
I think you are definitely onto something. The best way to judge them is if they all have to do the same dance and the same style. But you are right, probably wouldn't interest enough viewers for it to work.
I liked the way they did S1 where everything was pulled out of hat, style, partner, etc.
i don't think i want to see them all do the same type of dance in one night.
