Night shift routine with the 2 guys is super cute! Nice sharp, crisp moves!

Sonya's piece for Jessica and Ricky --hauntingly beautiful!

I thought I liked the Travis Wall routine, but I thought Carly and Rudy's routine did a better routine highlighting each of the dancers.

I'm not a big Christopher Scott fan, but I thought the older music was a smart choice. It made that routine more interesting for me.

Is it just me, or does Teddy (hip-hop/tap) look a bit like a young David Bowie?

No it isn't just you, I thought the exact same thing.

I thought Jessica held her own with Ricky. Technically I thought it was very good, but I can't say that I felt a deep connection between them. And that's in spite of the rave reviews the judges are giving right now...

ETA: According to Mary there is something wrong with me cuz I didn't get their connection.

I didn't love that last song, but I really enjoyed Nick & Tanisha's performance. It was fun.

Do all of the ballroom dancers in the top 20 really specialize in *Latin* ballroom?

I went back and watched Ricky & Jessica again. I think the lack of connection was really just a factor of the choreography style. They did everything that was asked of them.

I think I just tend to "see" more connection in emotional routines. For example, the Addiction routine that Kayla and Kupono performed may be my all time favorite. This was very well executed, but will definitely not go down as one of my favs.
