    Cole Horibe ~ Season 9

Cole Horibe currently lives in Honolulu, HI, where he was born and raised. He graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. After dancing for three years in high school, he quit dancing, believing he had relatively little talent in dance (as opposed to martial arts) and continued to train in various martial arts and studied acting--his career aspiration. Cole began dancing again 4 1/2 years ago. Having studied martial arts for most of his life, Cole incorporates a martial arts flavor into his choreography--a dance style which he calls "Martial Arts Fusion."

I was so disappointed by the horrible dance routine that Cole and his partner were forced to do this week. I hope it doesn't cost him his place on the show because he is so talented, and most of the viewing audience doesn't realize that sometimes a horrible routine can make the dancer himself look bad, and kill his chances on the show. I remember several season's back when Hok (who did that incredible 'Hummingbird' routine) was, later in the series, given a horrible routine to do, and he didn't survive after that. It was such a shame because he too, was one of the most talented young men on the show.

Yeah I agree, I thought it was not a very good routine for them this week.

I'm confused. Is everyone talking about the Mandy Moore contemporary routine as a bad routine? I thought it was excellent - powerful and moving. The judges liked it as well. I'm not a huge Lindsay fan, but I thought she more than kept up with Cole.

The only bad thing about the routine was the horrible lighting. Maybe, as Nigel said, it was great live, but it didn't translate on TV.

I'd be extremely surprised if either of them are in the bottom next week.
