I need more details on this, I'm assuming they'll give them tomorrow, but I don't know if its worth it if the All Stars won't be there, and I'm know Alex won't be there, so we'll see about this.

Bleah, they came to my town the last go round but now I'd have to drive 5 hours to attend. Don't think I will bother since my favorite won't be there (Alex).

Cat only mentioned the Allstars and Season 7 dancers for this tour. Season 6 really got the short end of the stick, eh?

Yes, Cat said your "favorite" contestant and All-Stars, whatever that means.

FYI - Nigel casually mentioned last night that several Season Six dancers will be on the tour.

Okay, I'm definitely going now that I know that S6 is also coming on the tour.

The tour is always great, even if the season sucked. I disliked S5, still went to the tour, and was amazed by how much I loved it. If you're feeling iffy about going, I would suggest buying tickets once they go on sale. They'll be worth it.

    Re: Tour Dates Announced!

I'm confused about this year's tour. In previous years, they have taken the Top 10 contestants, plus 2 alternates. The dances that they performed on the tour were favorite dances from that season's contest.

This year, they have 4 all stars, 2 contestants from the last season (I feel sooo bad for the other contestants from last season!) and 6 contestants from this year...
So what routines are they going to dance??
They won't be able to dance any of the ballroom routines from this year because Pasha and Anya are not on the tour...
What about all the routines danced with other all stars that are not touring (ex with Twitch, Lauren, & Neil?)
I'm really not sure how good the tour will be, so I'm very reluctant to buy tickets.
Perhaps Nigel will have some additional details this week?

p.s. I've been to all of the other tours, so this would be the first one I've missed. Season 2's tour was amazing, particularly because it was in a smaller venue... not sure why they didn't do that with last fall's season.

I completely agree! The season 2 tour was the best at the smaller venues. It was really hard to get involved with the dances in the larger venues. Those work for concerts, not dance shows. We had people dancing in the aisles at the Dodge Theater on the Season 2 tour. It was so much fun!
