For undecided viewers, this may be Evan's Waterloo. In a side-by-side "dance off", Brandon looks better.

And argh!!! My cable just went out!!!!!

Jeanine and Kayla - Contemporary - Mia Michaels to The Four Seasons: IV by Full Orchestra Steve Reich
They are shedding layers. Good number by Mia. It's a modern dance striptease. I've got to say this is favoring Jeanine's earthiness rather than Kayla's more ethereal quality.

Judges: Risky concept piece for the finale, but two thoroughbreds working together. Mary got the relevance of shedding the layers over the course of the past weeks until they just leave their heart and soul on the stage. Nigel compared it to the two princes number for Danny / Neil. A standout routine. Jeanine has peaked at the right time.

I'm still voting for Evan tonight. I think some of the judges have been very unkind and overly critical of him this season compared to some of the other dancers. Were as some other dancers may be "better" when it comes to certain techniques...Evan is my favorite dancer.

Wow this really shows me how much feeling Jeanine puts into everything, and I get very little emotion from Kayla (though technically it's really good!

The girls are much more equally matched talent-wise, I can't pick a favorite in that routine. That was gorgeous.

I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like Jeanine dances with/through the music while Kayla just dances around it or on top of it. Jeanine was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed that Mia routine!

    Loved Mia's work.

    The girls danced it beautifully.

I think Jeannine may have had a slight edge over Kayla, but for me, it's a tough call between the two of them.

    I loved that number!

I didn't think this was Mia's greatest work...Mary's raving was a bit over the top

Yeah - that! You said it so perfectly...that's it - Kayla was straight up at the end, but you could see the tension throughout Jeanine's body, she FELT and exuded it to us.
