Re: 7/15 Show Discussion Thread **SPOILERS**

    Bored now.

It was WAY too long a routine. If it had been more dynamic that wouldn't have bothered me so much. I've seen African dances I've liked before, so its not the style as a whole I have a problem with.

Oh. Time for Debbie Allen to say something self important. I'll shut up and listen (and try not to laugh at how far up her nose is stuck).

Guys Routine - African Style to Blantant Funk by Ayanda Clark and Shawn Kelly
Traditional costumes; lots of energy. But it's been said before and I'll say it again - this is not the best group of Top Five guys I have seen on this show. And poor Evan in there. To quote Sesame Street:
Which of these is not like the others.

I was surprised by Janette's height, too. I think it's because I always figured Brandon was taller than he is.

Oh, my Evan... I luv him, but I just giggled up a storm at him in this group dance... Especially when he stuck his stomach out instead of thrusting out his chest. What a ham. A very, very, pale ham...

Poor li'l guy. Did you notice that Ade was front and center for most of the dance? Hmmm...

I really didn't think the African dance was that good. Obviously the judges disagree. Too long and too repetitive.

Pale. And a little chunky. So cute.

Would it be amiss to suggest that having asked someone to choreograph this, they are, as usual, afraid to be all that critical of the choreography? (Maybe even MORESO than usual, since it might somehow be misinterpreted as an un-politically correct criticism of the whole style)

Not that the actual performance rose above the choreography either.

I have to ask : does anyone know what happened to the choreographer from ''dancing with the stars'' ?? I forgot his name but I was looking forward to more routines from him...
