Has Bollywood ever been done on the show before? Don't remember it... sounds interesting and a nice break from some of the other styles we've seen too much of already (cough...contemporary!)

Wow if Thayne and Comfort can't manage their own styles??! It'll be interesting to see if they really mucked it up or if the judges are gunning to get them sent home?

They did a Bollywood routine in SYTYCD Australia. Mary was a guest judge that week and she loved it.

What is Bollywood anyways-is it some kind of mixture of different styles? Can anyone explain it to me?

bollywood is actually india's version of hollywood. but bollywood dance refers to the type of dancing that is typical in a bollywood film. lots of hip action and controlled movement. hands play a big role in the dance. usually a love scene when danced in pairs.

Mary is apparently going to be a guest judge on the Canadian version of SYTYCD and there will be a few other familiar faces including Blake from year 1 as one of the main judges.

Well, I just watched the Youtube video of the Bollywood dance in SYTYCD Australia you all mentioned. Like the style - it sure is different. And it looks like it would be really fun to dance. But I'm pretty sure that Katee and Joshua will be able to do way better than Kate and Graeme did in the Australian version! Go Katee and Joshua!!

Maybe I overlooked it, but who's choreographing the Bollywood?
