I see the first two points, but the third in this case I have to disagree with.
IMHO, the ONLY reason they did a non-elimination round the first round was because I think they felt Mitchell was very good, but felt it wasn't right to keep him - who had to dance for his life because he couldn't dance with his partner night one - over someone who did do the couple dance.
While I understand it, I did find it sad that it did keep a couple safe this week who most likely would've been in danger of going home last week and kicked out at least one deserving couple (My opinion Nick and Ivetta, but I also liked Wadi and Missy's first number).

But Ivetta, and/or the make-up artists do cake it on. She looked so much younger (and prettier) during rehearsal with hardly anything on. And Matte make-up works well if you have oily skin like me because some of the shine comes through. Otherwise...it's a bad idea. The make-up peeps did her no favors, that's for sure.
