I agree wholeheartedly. I wasn't too sure about the concept when it was announced but I believe it works out so much better. I agree that its interesting to see the progression of the competitors as they dance with each other, but on the other hand, we've seen dancers end up in the bottom because their partner couldn't handle the dance. I think having the all-stars partnering with the competitors allows for mentoring to a degree. The all-stars understand what the competitors are going through, they can offer experience that a competitor partnership can't. I also think the all-stars set the bar very high for the competitors and they all recognized that if they're voted off it's their own fault, can't blame a partner.

OK, I think I just repeated myself but. . .

Ugh. So the Ellen thing is true?

    Barf.

Is this payback for her leaving Idol?

Loved Ellen's dance. That was too funny.

Wow. The Tween Screamers didn't win.

The stupid title doesn't mean anything. But she really deserves that money.

I didn't like the new format to begin with, but I have to admit I have enjoyed how it's played out.
You're so right about people being affected by their partner.
IIRC Danny Tidwell wasn't in the bottom two again after he stopped partnering Anya and Kameron was voted out very soon after his partnership with Lacey was disolved.

I'm stunned that Kent didn't win, I thought he had "Benji" written all over him.
    So pleased for Lauren.

Lauren won. She was good but never captured my heart.

Congratulations, Lauren. You worked hard (even though you weren't my favorite.)
