Thank goodness you started this thread, TopCat...I was "girding my loins" in contemplation of starting my first thread ever.
Please, please, please . . . lots of details for us westerners who can't wait!
West coaster here, eager for your commentary on the show.
What a totally retarded remix of what used to be a good Police song.
And the dance itself was more than a bit pretentious. Thanks, Mia!
Allison was the only girl in the opening number? I didn't see anyone else.
Now Cat is saying Lauren is OK but not dancing in the opening.
Show opens with a Mia Michaels fun number to Sting's new recording of Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic. I have a feeling that Allison's starring part was originally designed for Lauren.
Nigel details that Gatorade is recognizing dance as a sport and the Season 7 winner will be featured in a Gatorade campaign (in addition to the other prizes).
We will have Allison Iraheta as a guest artist and the Step-Up 3D dancers.
Cover of a dance magazine as a prize? Where's the eye-rolling thingie?
And being on a bottle of Gatorade is a sign of success? More eye rolling. Not unless it comes with an extra paycheck. Even the value of a Wheaties box is debatable--but at least THAT's of long standing.
Kent and Jose are up first. Anyone putting bets on which one is safe and which in danger?
I liked Mia's choreography in the first few seasons but I'm so over her stuff. Others have been wowing me this season but I found that opening number just blah.Quote:
