7/28 Performance Show discussion *Spoilers*

I keep waiting for AdeC' to WOW me and he just doesn't, there is so much power in his dance, but I agree with Nigel that he needs to just let loose and enjoy the dance...

Lauren has really grown on me, I think she is a fabulous dancer..maybe because it is just nice to see a female dancer's style amongst all these guys!

Geez. Lauren seems to do moves in her solos that most of the women who have been on this show don't risk.

Jose & Comfort - Hip Hop

Marty Kudlelka and Dana Wilson are the choreographers. Is this their first time on the show? Their style is very "Michale Jackson". Which is not a dancer to whom Jose wants to invite comparisons.

Aha! We get the reason why Jose has missed the group numbers the last two weeks - he pulled a muscle in his groin.

Hi All! I'm late again. Ok, so 2 leave this week. My favs are Kent, Adechike and Lauren.

Billy and Robert don't enthrall me. Jose' has reached the point where I'm full of him. I love seeing him as the underdog attempting contemporary and such. But, his own BBoy skills are weak to me. He can stay one more purely to grow more but I'm full of him.

I really loved Billy last year but Kent took that goof spot and ran with it. Robert's body type doesn't vibe with me. Nice guy, but he is missing something. He's getting better but I don't think he'll ever surpass my top 3 favs.

I still feel as though the choreographers are dumbing down the routines for Jose, this should have been something he could grasp, but obviously even in it's simplest form, he just doesn't have the knowledge to grasp any other style but his own. He has overstayed his welcome for far too many weeks...

Billy Solo

Impressive - a real piece of choreography and a character.

You know what? I couldn't stand Comfort as a contestant. But, I have to admit. She has really grown.

Was that the same routine Billy did during tryouts the first time he auditioned? It felt similar. Same music?

Kent Solo

Kent is really fighting for this - I love that he's not afraid to be still. (And bonus points for using Elliott Yamin's Song for You!)

Lauren & Allison - Broadway

A Girl Power routine. Hmmm... another Damn Yankees number. All the Broadway numbers this season are turning into a Bob Fosse retrospective. It was hard to watch Lauren with Allison dancing next to her.
