At times, Kent had that ~~look Mom I'm dancing! I'm really dancing! With a girl!!! look on is face.

    Ahhhh, I'm full.

I have to watch the earlier performances that I missed but I'm pretty sure this is my favorite of the night.

Ashley & Neil – Contemporary – Tyce Diorio to For All We Know

Neil! One of my favorites. And it's a beautiful number. Wonderfully dances by both of them.

A few of these guys have been like this... which is why the pimping of the guys this season seems a bit too strong to me.

And it seems inevitable that Mia is going to prop up all the boys, and snip away at all the girls. At least she's living up to that so far...

With this new format, I find I am watching the Allstars more than this year's dancers. They brought back some of my very favorites, I don't know this year's group yet, and so find I am not paying enough attention to the "newbies."

IMO, the Allstars are be dancing so much stronger than the contestants because of their experience, as contestants -and if they're working dancers now (which I will assume they are, or teaching), that experience. They've gone through learning routines outside of their specialties and know what it takes to perfect the performance. I wasn't sure I'd like this format, but I'm liking seeing some of my favorites back.

I thought Ashley did very well...I 'felt' her.

A 19 year old can know the feeling of fleeting love, and loving and losing.

Maybe the dancers appreciate having a 'seasoned' partner who went through it all before. As a viewer, I think I'd rather have two newbies dancing together; it was much more electric and exciting to watch.

Robert & Courtney – African Jazz– Sean Cheesman to Norweg

I hope Courtney survived the rehearsals! And this works really well - Robert is a good match for Courtney. He could use just a touch more "wildness" for me, though.

That was wonderful for me. Joyful!

I think the men will take it this year--they are really strong.

And the show is ending right on time - major props to director Nikki Parsons! This live show ran flawlessly; she gave us some instant replays; and she put together a summary reel of each of the dances for the end of the show. And brauva to Cat for keeping the judges and the dancers moving.

    Time to vote!
