Ha! I remember this song from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. And the number's not really working for me. I didn't get a lot of pop attitude from Lauren.

Ok. I'm having an "it's not fair moment" the Alex routine was great but I consider him a professional dancer and not an amateur and so yeah.
He danced better than Allstar.
I also don't think it was the best routine in the history of SYTYCD. I can think of two others off the top of my head...all from amateurs.

Kent & Anya – Cha Cha– Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin to Lady Marmalade
This is going to be a stretch. Not bad. But not quite up to Anya's level. He gets the steps pretty well but I ain't buying sexy Kent.
Kent! Half-way thought and I'm really impressed. Very good. He held his own with Anya.
Kent is a natural... I really liked that...
I thought he was better than the all-star...
