I thought it was a nice routine, but not finale level.

Kayla's technique was beautiful and Jeanine's interpretation was spectacular.

I wasn't crazy about either the boys' or the girls' routines. I thought they all danced pretty well. Disagree with everyone else about Evan - I thought he played the character pretty well. Although it's obvious in the full-body type moves that Brandon is much more fluid - he can do things that Evan can't. I'm also wondering, if it was obvious to all the judges that Evan can't be a "nasty boy" - why the final 2 boys were given a routine that one of them would never be able to pull off? Or did it not matter because they really don't think Evan can pull ANYTHING off?

I actually thought that Kayla looked better than Jeanine in the girls' dance. She just seemed a little bit higher, a little bit straighter, a little bit something.

    Evan’s solo
This year was his second audition. Toughest thing is being away from the family. He thinks he brings something different. Favorite routine was the Butt Dance with Mia.
And the dance - it's pure Evan - what did you think he was going to do? This is a lot like his audition.

Judges: Adam thought redoing his audition was a calculated risk. You're great at what you do. Mary says Evan is unique and has inspired many young people to go back to that 50's musical style. Nigel thinks Evan brings the "Ahh" factor; but Evan hasn't grown over the series. Not as strong as the other solo dancing. Audience screams for Evan, though.

Evan's solo was not that impressive. Too much time spent posing. With Brandon and Jeanine's awesome solos, this fell flat for me.

I didn't like Evan's solo as much as usual. I guess compared to the new stuff the last two did, it just didn't seem that special. Nigel is a meanie, though.

Nigel's rant will have the opposite effect than he wants... Evan fans will be motivated. I'm a Brandon and Jeanine fan, though don't know which I'll vote for the most tonight yet, it's a tough choice!
