Liked Travis' futuristic number! He's very good!

Looks like that one-armed, forward-leaning cartwheel is one of his signature moves.

The costuming was interesting and great, too!

I DO sympathize with Mia a bit more, for the fact that she sat there with her fingers in her ears, fully prepared for a banshee to scream in her ear and ruin her hearing for the rest of the show.

Poor Ellen probably has NO idea what she's in for.

Is it any wonder that Nigel moved over a seat?

Janette and Evan - Jazz by Sonya Tayeh to Move by CSS
Shut Up is the theme. A lot of synchro work. Jeanette is rocking this for me. Evan not so much. There is something underpowered about his performance.

Judges: Nigel says Evan is stepping up from last week and Jeanette was great. Mary says Evan ran out of steam at the end but Jeanette can't take a wrong step. Mia says Evan was better BUT he will never be a dark twisted Sonya dancer. And Jeanette is her favorite this season.

Janette - Once again proves she can do about anything.

Evan - Not so much. Not bad, but it wasn't like Janette.

Honestly, I wonder how ANYONE could have watched that and NOT found their eyes constantly following Janette. Evan was, at most, a prop.

I liked that number. I generally like Sonya's stuff.

I think I was feeling Janette just a tiny bit more in that than Evan, though.

    Ellen is a lunatic!

Kayla Solo - There I Said It by Imogen Heap
A moody but (for me) not too impressive solo.

Jeanine and Brandon - Waltz by Hunter Johnson to May It Be by Haley Westernra
Lovely number. Brandon may be thinking of cats and bunnies, but he's a great partner. Jeanine is in a sparkley yellow dress that emphasizes her flowing movements. Not too exciting, though.

Judges: Nigel was bored; the music was too slow. Ellen quotes "Twyla Tharp". Mary agrees it was S-L-O-W and required incredible control; but it was respectable. Mia didn't like the stop and go quality of the dance.
