Melissa and Ade - Disco
Very nice disco - really showed Ade off (for a change!) Great lifts. Nice start to the evening.
I will be watching on the DVR so I can fast forward all of the filler.
I love disco music (after all these years) so that was a fun routine to watch!
I thought a few times they were not in sync with each other but none of the judges pointed it out so maybe I am imaginng things. The lifts were amazing, and I thought Ade danced it better than Melissa.
Kayla and Kupono - Contemporary (Mia)
WOW! Another Miasterpiece. That hit me in my gut. Please do that on the tour! This is the couple with the smallest fanbase (I think). But this could keep them away from the bottom three for sure! Way to go K&K&Mia!!
Caitlin and Jason - Foxtrot (Tony Meredith) to Minnie the Moocher
Very nice foxtrot, but was it great like they wanted it to be? I don't think so. Jason's extensions were a bit lacking.
I agree this was a fantastic routine, but the non-stop pimping of Kayla by the judges is getting really old -- really fast. That is what is going to hurt them.Originally Posted by TopCatDC;3553371;
It's hard to follow Mia's Dance of Addiction with a Fred & Ginger jazzy foxtrot. It just doesn't have the gravitas of what came before.
Speaking of which, Russian Folk Dance coming up. Jeanine and Philip look like refugees from the St Nicholas Parish Festival.
For me, it sounded like they praised Kupono more than Kayla. (They had a note or two for Kayla but none for Kupono.)Originally Posted by xmaskat;3553398;
