I like Sonya's work and she seems sweet, but she has a scary haircut and tattoos.lol
Randi and Evan are dancing to a Broadway musical tune from Sweet Charity. Boring and nothing too difficult.![]()
Evan and Randi up doing Broadway by Jane Dowling to Sweet Charity. It was OK, but I am not really a Broadway fan.
Evan & Randi - Broadway - Joey Dowling
New choreographer! And this is Evan's thing. Doing "the Pugilist" section from Rich Man's Frug from Sweet Charity. This is tough on Evan - he is a Gene Kelley / Michael Kidd style show dancer and this is pure Fosse: lots of little isolations and detail work. He is struggling. Randi is getting it more than Evan.
Randi has partridge feathers on top of her head.
Evan belongs on Broadway.
"...each affects the other, and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one." - Mitch Albom, one helluva writer
When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
Brandon & Janette-they are a power couple. They match each other well. Of course, they will be split up eventually.
Kupono & Kayla-she outdanced him imo. I agree he needed more character in tecgnique in his choreography.
Evan & Randy-The dance seemed slow and lacking something--energy perhaps? I love Evan but I don't care for his partner. I expected to be wowed by Evan but I wasn't. I agree with Mia...they didn't take it to the next level.
Scott Bakula in the audience tonight.
What I liked about the Sweet Charity number is that these were authentic Fosse moves (which are super hard to pull off) rather than the faux-Fosse that Tyce usually does. I'd bet money that Joey has danced either for Fosse himself or Ann Reinking.
