7/24 Show Discussion Thread **SPOILERS**

I want Katee to go next too, but my reasons are more shallow than yours. I just don't like looking at her. It's hard for me to get past that hideous hair color and do. Chelsea and Courtney are very pretty and are more enjoyable to watch dance.

I think Twitch is a great guy, but am I the only one that thinks the choreographers have continuously dumbed down his part in the routines they've given him? I was very surprised at his reaction to being in the bottom 2 and yet NO ONE here even mentioned it. I know he can't be older than 30 because of the age rules, but he looks older than that and I expect more mature behavior from him.

While I vehemently disagree with your Katee comment (love her!) I couldn't agree more with the Twitch comment. His contemporary "dancing" has mostly consisted of thrashing around on a bed and acting like an angry young man on the other side of a door. I really didn't see that much dancing on his part in either routine. He's got a pleasant enough personality but I think he's seriously lacking in versatility. And yes, his reaction to being in the bottom 2 was ludicrous, almost like he couldn't possibly believe he was there.

I think i know what the top 6 couples are.

Since Katee has already danced with Joshua and Twitch, she'll be with Mark.

Since Chelsie has already danced with Mark and Joshua, she'll be with Twitch.

And Courtney has already danced with Joshua, but he's the only one left for her to dance with.

NOTE: Joshua has already danced with all of the final 3 girls, so whoever he gets, he'll have a slight advantage.

Let's wait until Wednesday(Or Monday, when spoilers come out) to see how many I get right.

I thought his reaction was that he was sure he was going home because he thought that no way was Will going home. Will's leaving was a surprise to all, I imagine. He's technically a better dancer (I think, but I have no dance skills so I could be wrong!) than Twitch, so my impression was that at that moment Twitch was positive he was the one going home.

I wanted Mark gone, my fav men are Will, Twitch and Joshua.

I am a big katee fan and I really want her to win this.

I think Twitch's reaction to being in the bottom two was understandable. Being up against Will, he probably felt like he was leaving for sure.

SYTYCD is the be all and end all of dance. Katee saying she wouldn't be back to audition for a third year if she didn't make it does not indicate a quitter or that she had "given up". I am sure that there are cost associated with auditioning for this show such as travel, missed work, physical and emotional drain, etc.. There are other avenues out there for dancers besides SYTYCD, this show just happens to be the latest and greatest for gaining exposure.

I disagree with you. SYTYCD is not all that. There are other places to be a recognized dancer... and her giving up on making top 20 doesn't mean she's giving up on being a dancer. Besides, she has proven to be a great competitor. I bet the producers were expecting Katee to be Top 20 fodder, and get kicked out early for having a "loser" attitude.

Heh definitely a popularity contest the minute "America" starting voting and was the only votes that counted, I've stopped watching this silly show, not responding to anymore threads here.

She was not "ready to give up", and that whole mess was a complete bunch of nonsense. At the VERY worst, all she said (when blindsided by the question) was that if she didn't make the top 20 she wouldn't try to be on the competition anymore. THIS competition. And Nigel acts as if that meant she was going to give up dance entirely. Moron (Nigel, not you!). THIS SHOW is not the entirety of dance - why put yourself through the buzzsaw they put these kids through a THIRD time when there are other avenues and she was obviously good enough to use those other avenues.
