8/02 Show Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS***

Join the club. Cant wait to see they get paired. But Im kinda worry if they look awkward together doing ballroom dance cause Danny is a way taller than she ...

Danny is the tallest guy. He's about the same height as Cat in four inch heels, and Cat is 5'9.

Sabra is the shortest girl. However, the tallest girl left now is Lauren, and even she isn't very tall. I don't think she's any more than 5'6. Because, standing next to Lacey and Sabra, who are about the same height (well, Lacey is a bit bigger, and probably a bit taller also.), Lauren was only a few inches taller than them.

However, in a ballroom dance, Sabra will be wearing heels, and Danny won't, unless it's a Rumba. So yeah, there will still be a large height difference, but not that large.

I believe he said "CATry Hepburn". I recall thinking that was somewhat awkward.

Question:

Does it have to be 2 men or 2 women who get the lowest votes every week? What would happen if were that the 2 men or 2 women got the lowest votes over all. Would they reveal this?

Okay, lets not get carried away. If Danny/Neil are both in the mens final 3, then obviously they are being compared to eachother. Danny is a very talented dancer, but he is not god. If Danny were so above and beyond everyone else, then what would he be doing on this stupid, so-called dance reality show? Its one thing to just simply say he is better than Neil, but too say he is so superior that they cannot even be compared is clearly illogical since they are on the same show and simply not believable. As for the solos, Dannys dancing was great, but IMO, lacked musicality. And I am turned off by his arrogance, especially to how whenever he is safe, he makes a scene and rubs it in. But when hes in the bottom, hes like *what, that simply cannot be right .* America voted for it jacka$$, it is right. I quite liked Neils solo and disagree about you saying it lacked fluidity. I think he could have done more with it, but still great and IMO, not amateur at all. The fact is, one may edge out the other, but if Danny were so superior, he would not belong on this show. IMO, he is not superior.

First, I did not intend to attack you and apologize if it came off that way
But I dont consider it *out of line* since this is a public message board
I think I was simply stating my humble opinion by saying *IMO*
I do like Neil, but will admit he is now the worst dancer remaining
But worst dancer on the show? What about Cedric? Faina? (Only because she wasnt versatile) Alexandra (Season 2)? Joy? Hes not the worst, he may not be the best, but hes certainly not that bad
In week 3, I dont know how Jesus could have stayed with that solo
And Neil showed lots of potential in his although some may argue it lacked fluidity
I think once Hok/Neil were in the bottom, either could have went
Both great in their own genres, but lack versatility, particularly ballroom
I think Neil was lucky at that time to have gotten his genres 2 weeks in a row while Hoks routines were his weaknesses
Id say that was debatable
Neil isnt *better* than this show, but considering his credentials and the work he has gotten, I doubt he needed it
Ultimately, I hardly mentioned Neil in my post
I was talking about Danny and as of now, Danny is performing better than Neil, but my comment about the *stupid reality show* only has to do with how if Danny were so beyond these dancers, he wouldnt be on this show
I dont want to argue with you, but when it comes to dancing, beauty is the eye of the beholder, one mans trash is anothers treasure
Theres no definite philosophy that says one dancer is the best
When people just simply say they like Neil, nobody is entitled to say *WTF? Neil is the worst dancer ever* because its their opinion
You may think he is horrible, but as he has made it this far, it is clear many would disagree

I know what you mean. But Benji and Heidi should be *invincible* together cause they have been paired for years!
I miss the chemistry that Benji and Donyelle had. It was real and both of them were really good. Could we have a couple like that again...?

Funny you should mention this, I spend part of last night rewatching last year's finale. What a huge difference in personalities. Last season had many many dancers to cheer for. This year, not so much.

I agree. Last year there was growth, personality, fun, and heart.
This year you see some of that but not as much.

This year..I find myself "just watching"...not really getting caught up in any of the couple's...seems that there is no real personalities!...

Oh well...something to watch anyway...
