i think he did pretty well, for not knowing how to even do any hip hop. Though it looked mechanical and as if they only did what they were told to do, i liked it. But in comparison to Benji and Donyelles there is no comparison. I felt their drive, but it didn't wow the judges.

I thought Dmitry did a fabulous job since it was totally out of his element of dance. Also, because of his size, any mistake would have been noticed a lot more. He's a big boy!

But the judges were right. He didn't really "feel" it. That's because it was too foreign for him. But he worked well with his partner I though. It was fun to watch. I hope he stays for awhile.

I'm glad he stayed. Seems like he's a good dancer. I enjoyed watching him in the Samba and it was definately Joy who let the couple down.
Did you notice in the clip before the dance it showed him kind of get on Joy about practicing? I can't quite decide if he's a bit of a jerk, or if she was that much of a slacker. I sure don't think he's all that happy to be paired with Alex though. Depending on the style of dance and how Alex does they might be in the bottom 3 again next week.

Dmitry and Heidi would be a much better pair. Heidi deserves better than Ryan. His attitude totally soured me against him. As dancers, they need to have and display professional demeanors. Slacking (Joy) or acting petulant a la Ryan is a total no-no.

Yes I completly agree with you, Ryan was a complete turn off by his reaction to Heidi and he insincere aplogy to her on the last show.

Dmitri is hot and he dances well and can dance any style. Howevr, if he does not do well with the third partner he may go home soon I think. This is because the competition is now about being strong and helping your partner to be strong. Which he didn't do with Joy orthe second partner.
