Nancy Kerrigan has always struck me as very high-maintenance, spoiled, etc etc - and she's partnered with Dave (the one Alanis Morisette wrote all those p!$$ed off songs about and who was on that show with the Olsens and John Stamos, playing a big goofball.
Hmmm - this should be an interesting mismatch.

A goofball like Dave was probably a good match for Nancy. In the contact I've had with her in the past she always seemed to have a hard time, uh, relaxing.

They'll either mesh really well or be complete oil and water. Maybe Nancy has mellowed since she had kids.

He plays hockey, (I think) so at least he should be able to do good footwork.

I still (after all this time) can't believe Alanis dated him...but I sure love that song "You Oughta Know" she wrote (about him)...although it loses something if you think about HIM when it's on.

That's the legend! Does it creep you out too?

I have told myself I'd watch less reality tv this coming year (suuuure I will) and I had planned for this to be one of the ones I don't watch...but after seeing that he's on it, I know I'll have to watch. And cringe.

According to snopes, the story about the Alanis song may or may not be true.

Anyway, wasn't he on one of the Surreal Life seasons too?

yes he was - the one with Bridgette Neilson ( I know i butchered that spelling) and Flava Flav - Season 3? with Charo? and some others I don't remember. He seemed pretty grounded and dopwn to earth on that show, but that may have only been as in to comparison with the others!

He is a hockey player, but by no means a skating star, especially because playing hockey does not constitute being a good skater, if anything he will be the most adapted to standing and moving on the ice, but I doubt he possesses anymore ability than the next person.

Great. Just what we need. Bullwinkle impressions during the interview segments.
