I think that being a hockey player does constitute being a good skater, but NOT a good figure skater. They are two very different skill sets. The blades of hockey skates and figures skates are completely different. I would expect there is a big learning curve when switching skate types.

However, he would certainly be comfortable on the ice and would have good balance and turning skills.

His oddball facial expressions annoy me.

Strange...none of the blood promos show Dave dripping from the chin. He probably does really well.

I love how they get not well known celebities and turn them into stars!

Just look at John from last season!

Haven't watched this show yet - did it start already? Dang.

I like Dave Coulier, I think. Seems like the most well-balanced cast member to come out of Full House. Well, Bob Saget is OK but his act is SO blue!! Dave seems nice and normal. He stayed in great shape, too! He looks better now than he did in the 1980s.

Got the new issue of TV Guide today, and it has a layout of the contestants. In those pics, Dave looks so...scroungy, unwashed. And CREEPY!

    yes, Dave

If I weren't so lazy today I'd scan the pics...bu he's wearing what looks like velvet in one, and really, nobody needs to see that!

It's the January 16-22 TV Guide, if anyone wants to see.

Doesn't the whole Alanis connection already give that impression? That and the fact that 90% of his comedy seems to be based on a single impression of Bullwinkle the Moose?
