    You Decide the Winner

NEW SERIES! YOU DECIDE THE WINNER!
    PREMIERES 8/7PM WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5

NBC joins partner Sports Illustrated to launch a nation-wide search for the next great swimsuit supermodel with its new unscripted series timed for the launch of the magazine's famed annual Swimsuit Issue.

During Sports Illustrated's search for an undiscovered model for the popular Swimsuit Issue, the six-episode series will focus on what it takes to become a successful swimsuit model. Twelve selected finalists will live in Los Angeles where they will compete for the chance to appear in the best selling issue of any magazine in the world and win a million-dollar modeling contract from NEXT Model Management.

The series and competition culminate with the final two contestants who will be flown to an exotic location to shoot a photo spread for Sports Illustrated. No one will know who the winner will be until America votes as part of the series finale in February.

Charged with the task of whittling down the field of hopeful models is a three-judge panel including former Sports Illustrated model Roshumba Williams, NEXT Model Management President Joel Wilkenfeld and Sports Illustrated swimsuit editor Jule Campbell.

"The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search" is produced by Pariah, PB & J Television and Sports Illustrated. Gavin Polone, Patty Ivins, Julie Pizzi, Terry McDonell and Roy S. Johnson executive produce the series.

You perhaps missed the important sentence in the above article:

No one will know who the winner will be until America votes as part of the series finale in February.

What I really meant to say is that if they want the public's opinion, it should be from the beginning, like in American Idol, there the public really has a say in the eliminations. You hear the critiques and then watch then and finally decide the cuts. I just think they are going too fast and they are eliminating on poor excuses and even some they are eliminating I think are good and shouldhave a second chance....or a chance, at least...

    Just can't be right...

Do you really think that a show that was filmed perhaps in Sept or Oct where the 'final two finalists are flown to an exotic location for a photo shoot' has not already been selected???? I mean, seriously, with the way the judges, specially Joel from Next, humiliated and criticize the girls snorting that 'they have to impress him' in order to get noticed by him, and on top of all that, his agency gives the major prize....$$$$....give me a break!!

The magazine comes out in February and the finale of the show is in Feb, voting included....how long does the respectable magazine have, with all the technology in the world, to print and distribute who knows how many million copies and have it on time for the show finale???????!!!!!!!

So....WHO DOES THE VOTING....??? I personally respect the actual internet voting of the girls taking place on the NBC website. The public is ranking the girls and it is voice their favorites. In fact, from what I have noticed, the top 5 selections have maintained their position since the beginning of the voting. Now THAT TELLS ME WHO AMERICA WANTS.....
