| GO AMARI! (after she did her "stupid" speech, she became my favourite) |

| Speaking of foreshadowing, did anyone catch Liz in the previews saying, "May the best MAN win."? Could it be Scot? (Wow, my first post in months! Hi, Q! )

| This show seemed pretty rigged to me. Seemed the younger judge pulled for Liz until she was in, and the other two definitely favored Amari and probably will vote her the win. What did she do tonight to deserve being in the showdown but stutter her words? Why Davis would want to be in the finals other than the 50,000 is beyond me cause even if he was best they never would have voted for him anyway. If Liz or Amari wins Blech Scott would be my choice, but yeah right. |

| See now, it's funny how different our reactions are. I like all the finalists and I cried because I was so happy Amari made it. I think she's great. Then again, I think they are all wonderful. | |

| Once again almost all I saw of the show was the final showdown. I was sorry to see Davis lose. He obviously knew the answer--he misheard. He deserved to be in the finals. Oh well... The judges seem to favor Amari, so they were probably happy. At least it wasn't that other girl, who doesn't seem very bright to me. I hope Melissa or Liz wins. |

| Davis was a victim of his own hubris. Rob clearly said which two presidents were assassinated in the 20th Century. When Davis answered with the two 19th Century assassinees, Rob asked him if he was sure. Instead of asking to rehear the question, Davis said yes he was sure. | |

| Oh man, I feel for Davis. That's JUST the kind of stupid thing I do on tests -- mishear/misread the question and write something that makes the grader say, "What the HECK?" Still priceless. |

| I'm glad Davis didn't make hit. He was pompous from the beginning. I have no qualms with the 5 finalists. They aren't bad choices. |
