They can only win $50,000 once. Liz did say that if she won, that would cover about 1/3 of her 4 year college tuition. (at least that is what I think I heard!) :)
Alyssa has only herself to blame. The told her that her attitude and temper were holding her back. She was stupid to act on her attraction to Matt. That's not why she's there and it's helping to hold her out of the finals.
