My favorite so far is Sharon Needles. I love her look. Her tattoos are crazy - Tammy Faye and I think I saw a smurf? Who does that?

Love Kenya and just love this program!

Really good episode tonight! I liked the sitcom challenge, and Max Mutchnik (sp?) was a good choice for directing it.

Unfortunately, Phi Phi was her usual hateful, oversensitive, spiteful self. I'm getting tired of her fast. Unfortunately, there are still several less polished queens who will probably go before she does, so it's not likely to end soon. I'm hoping that maybe there will be some Untucked coming up where we get Phi Phi's sob story about what turned her (him, actually, it's the person not the queen) into such a sourpuss.

    Re: RuPaul's Drag Race (Logo)

I saw an advance copy of tonight's episode:

The challenge is to design a magazine cover based on titles that the winner of the Mini-Challenge gives out to the queens. They each had to write the copy for the cover, pose for a cover shot, and then lay out the cover design.

For the mini-challenge, the library was open! The queens took turns reading each other. Latrice, Willam and Chad did really well, and Sharon got a couple of good ones in. Phi Phi completely choked (as usual). Ru named Latrice the winner.

In the workroom, Phi Phi continued to be a spiteful, hateful b**** and advised Jiggly Caliente to take her fitness magazine cover seriously instead of going for laughs, which he knew was the wrong advice. Phi Phi then went over to Willam and bragged about sabotaging Jiggly, who is already a wreck for being in the bottom so many times. Even Willam was taken aback. I was so hoping that Phi Phi would bomb and be sent home this week.

The winner and the bottom two were surprising. To my anger and dismay, Phi Phi won her first challenge. But honestly, hers was the only professional looking cover, and somehow she managed to put a really good look together for the runway. Also, everyone else basically bombed with their covers, and the runway was hit or miss for most of them.

Jiggly was in the bottom (of course), but shockingly, she had to lip-synch against Willam, who had a cheap cover and a 5 o'clock shadow on the runway. But the song was My Vida Loca by Pam Tillis (one of this week's judges), and Jiggly was out of her element. So, Ru asked Jiggly "May I call you Jiggly?" for the last time.

It was kind of a subdued episode overall, which was surprising. The worst thing this show could do is to lose its edge. But it's so unique that it's hard to fault the show for sticking to the formula.

I love Latrice too! I love her laugh and sorry she didn't win the 'float' challenge. Her makeup was 'sickening'. : )

Still dont know. I even watched untucked which I dont normally do, and they kept teasing it but never said. Just that he broke some agreement in the contract *shrug*

Thanks AmyKay. I can't find anything online either, but I didn't have a heck of a lot of time to look either.

    Re: RuPaul's Drag Race (Logo)

Willam gave an interview to EW and was still coy about what the actual rulebreaking was:

'RuPaul's Drag Race': Disqualified contestant speaks out | PopWatch | EW.com

Sounds like they are teasing it until the Reunion episode at the end of the season. But they threw a bunch of hints by showing Willam throw up, and his looking quiet and shaky in the workroom, and that close-up on his hand shaking in the Illusions Lounge during Untucked -- my guess is that he went AWOL and partied somewhere without the show's knowledge, or maybe was stashing alcohol/drugs in his room (if that's against the rules, who knows with this show)...

But they are definitely trying to save the details for the reunion. That was the most staged/manipulated Untucked I've ever seen. Obviously they were told they couldn't talk specifics on camera, because everyone chose their words very carefully, and it was edited weird, where nobody talked about Willam at first, and then suddenly in the second half, everyone knew he broke rules and was talking about it (yet it was still before the lip-synch). I didn't appreciate the blatant fakery this week, this show hasn't had that kind of reputation before now.

    Re: RuPaul's Drag Race (Logo)

I haven't been able to see this season's Drag Race (VH1 was the only way for me to get it and I haven't been on a computer recently to watch the vids), but I have to say in defense of RuPaul, there is possibly a serious issue that has happened that had William DQ'd and it's legality of it is so serious - and possibly criminal - that it can't be shown yet until the legalities of it are settled. Reason? - fear of potential libel/slander if say (an example only, speculation not fact) the hand shaking and the pallor were indeed medical conditions (and there are a few) and not say drug/alcohol related.

I don't think RuPaul is the type of person who would hide secrets about the show and why people were DQ'd unless there was no choice. She's been through a lot in her personal life that I don't think she'd risk ruining her career to just up and hide something - unlike the Tyra Banks decision on "All-Stars."

    Re: RuPaul's Drag Race (Logo)

Two rumors I've read at other sites:
    • Willam kept a laptop or cellphone during production, which is against the rules
    • He snuck out late one night to do dubbing for another project
Guess we won't know for sure until the reunion. I just hope Latrice or Sharon wins the season. Dida just isn't good enough, and Phi Phi is a sour, mean little troll. But Ru does like picking glamour queens, so who knows.
