Will there be a 3rd season?

This probably means nothing but I noticed on the New Years Eve special that Supernova is being called "Rockstar Supernova". How can they carry the name of the CBS show as part of their band name.
Anyway here's hoping for a third season. I'm sure Brooke needs something to do

I hope that doesn't that there won't be a 3rd season, couldn't they figure something out to add to their name instead of Rockstar? I don't know what it could or would be.

Just wanted to jump on the train here. I wasn't active during the first two seasons and have been eager for a third, especially after this horribly boring, dreary, mainstream season of Idol.

Any news if there is a third season? Read at another site that various bands have approached Mark Burnett but he is having a difficult time finding a band that truly wants a lead singer and isn't just trying to get publicity *coughs* supernova *coughs*

Supposedly Deadbolt approached him asking if they were doing a 3rd season, I hope not with that band but I'd love to see another season of this show. Its my favorite music competition.

Last I read Mark Burnett was quoted as saying that he couldn't find a "notable" band that was in need of a new lead singer. That he was in talks with various bands but so far none of them were interested. He also said that out of all his shows, this is the one that gets the most questions. So hopefully the moneymakers will see how much this show is wanted and will give us something soon.
