Lukas Not "Star" Boyfriend Material

On his first official night in Tommy Lee's band, Supernova, "Rock Star" winner Lukas Rossi may have already forgotten where he came from -- by leaving his girlfriend out in the cold as he partied with the band.

After the show's finale, Rossi pulled up to the after-party with Tommy Lee and the two walked right into the club. Rossi's girlfriend, Francesca, was not allowed in and waited around, clearly distressed, for her boyfriend to come to her rescue. He never did.

The jilted Francesca was even offered some help by show cast-off Dilana but not even the multi-color haired rocker could get her in.

Lukas did come out and talk to his girlfriend briefly but then went back inside the party solo. Before leaving, an agitated Francesca told photographers outside the club she wasn't allowed in because Rossi wasn't supposed to be seen with a girlfriend.

Taking relationship lessons from Tommy already, eh Lukas?

Wasn't supposed to be seen with a girlfriend? Do PR people still worry about stuff like that? Are they getting ready to send Lukas to a Tiger Beat photo shoot or something?

Ah well. Dilana's been my girl since day 1, but if someone else had to win I'm OK with it being Lukas. I'll happily buy her CD and pay for a ticket to see her live. Sounds like she is going to come out of this pretty well, anyway - I'd rather play with Dave Navarro any day.

Lucas and Dihlana were by far my two favorites ..and i was pleased to see the best out of the bunch in the final 2.The rest imo are not even in the same league as Dihlana and Lucas ..these 2 both having amazing stage presence and are both really talented performers ...Lucas was super talented ..he more then deserved to win ..i think one of the reasons why Lucas got it over Dihlana is Dihlana is really lacking when it comes to writing ..that part of her craft still needs a lot of work ..sofar what she wrote just as Gilby said was not very good at all ..but that is something she can work on and develope in the future and im not worried about her ..she still got a pretty good deal and i think she will do just fine.
But Lucas my Canadian boy ..he was the best man for the job he has great pipes and lights up the stage and can hold his own next to Tommy and the boys ..yes he has a bit of an attitude but big deal what rockstar dosnt that kind of goes with the image.He put on the best show lastnight imo so it was well deserved win.Super Nova made the right choice.

He's not exactly pinup material, is he? But at least he can sing. No, wait… umm… Oh yeah! He's a talented, multifaceted songwriterrrr… eh… mmm… He was a consistent audience favorite, with a much larger fan base than any of the other rockers… (pause) He's got incredible performance skills and really knows how to draw in an audience… (crickets)

Why did they pick him, again?

Well I must say I'm surprised. I didn't think Rossi would win. Not because he's not a good artist/singer. I'm not a musical person and don't really know what is good. I know what I like, however, and I wasn't much of a fan of Lukas, ....but personal bias/hope is not why I didn't think he would win either. I do have an ear for bad and I don't believe he is/was bad. The candidates cut early in the show.....they were bad.
No, I didn't think he would win for the simple non-musical related reason that he is Canadian. Given that the winner of Rockstar INXS, J.D. Fortune, is also Canadian...well I figured there was no way for two Canadians to win in a row. Obviously a wrong theory. I'm just glad I kept it to myself and never expressed this, here or anywhere, during the show as now I technically do not have egg on my face. Congrats to Lukas, but I won't be buying any Supernova CDs or going to any of their concerts.

Good points, Jasmar. If what I'm reading here and in other forums is true, there will be a huge exodus of concert-goers right after the House Band and TPC sets are up. (crickets)

I wasn't much of a Navarro fan before, but I've listened to a few of TPC tunes and they are pretty interesting. I may buy the CD.

Oh for the love of... do they really think teenage girls are going to slit their wrists because Lukas is seen with his girlfriend? Honestly, you'd think the PR folks would WANT him to be seen with a woman to stop any gay rumors (not that there's anything wrong with being gay, but I don't see these "macho" guys in SuperNova being comfortable with a gay lead singer).

I never disliked Lukas before this but if what this report says is true, he's just another idiot tool.

Just goes to show how classless Lukas is. You don't invite your girlfriend to a party and then leave her outside. If she wasn't allowed in, he shouldn't have gone in either. If they really wanted him to be inside, they would've allowed her into the party, too. And if they didn't, f them. The more rock 'n' roll atttitude would've been to tell them to chuck off and take his girlfriend out to dinner. Just goes to show that you can put a guy in makeup and have him act like a punk on stage...but inside he's just a scared manchild worried about ticking off his new employers. I wonder if he'll go crawling back to her after his stint with the band is over and he's back at Hooters making hot wings...

Has it been confirmed that she actually is his girlfriend? I remember from my days in a band, and hanging out with all the other bands on the circuit (and this was the penny ante bottom-of-the-barrel local circuit), the huge numbers of woman hanging around the periphery claiming all manner of things. I'm not necessarily suggesting that this is the case here, but I would be inclined to view the situation with some skepticism until the nature of their relationship is confirmed.

The article doesn't say if he came with her (it just says he came with Tommy Lee...his new girlfriend )...so if he came with her and ditched, that's tacky. If they arrived separately--and he stiffed her, that's still tacky, whether she's his girlfriend or date du jour that he invited. He must've known her 'cause why would he have come outside to check on her if he had no clue who she was.

If she's a stalker claiming to be his gilfriend, well, I'll sure that'll come out, too.

Before this article came out, someone on another board said that a girl by this name was his girlfriend. She reported this information when people were curious about Lukas's orientation.
