I went with "Anything, Anything" as that was my favorite performance of the entire season.

Its really pretty lame, maybe they have run out of song rights and are scrounging around for anything really lame (I will survive)

Panic.... I just might have to agree with you on "Anything, Anything". For some reason I really enjoy that song/performance even though I had never heard the song before. Something about Storm's performance of that song really stuck with me.

Storm was better than Dramarama's version, so much life and sass.

I'd love to hear Storm sing "Jet City Woman", sure she's from Portland, but damn that would rock.

This band will never be as good as Queensryche, so maybe they want to avoid the pressure

    Eg Storm's Choices:
    "Anything, Anything," Dramarama
    "Changes," David Bowie
    "We Are The Champions," Queen
"Bring Me to Life," Evanescence (wildcard option)

I don't want to hear Storm sing "Bring Me to Life", but we're not given that much of a choice cause it's a no-brainer that everyone will go for the wildcard, just like they did last season.
Most fun part of "Request Week"?

Getting to choose a song for Zayra which WE KNOW WE WONT HAVE TO HEAR HER SING! Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

I won't say I chose Wild Card every single time. But I did for all but two people. And in those cases it was simply because I thought the designated Wild Card song was stupid, not because I don't really want to hear a new song more than an old one.

Overall, its an insane stupid idea.

i pretty much voted the wild cards for all about one or two too. i want to hear them sing something new. and in my boredom i put together a list of songs i would like to hear on the show. am sure most will not make it but gave me something to do lol

with or without you - U2
time for me to fly - reo speedwagon
the end - the doors (love this song, i just wonder how they might do with it)
    haunted or tourniquet- evanescence
only time - enya (probably never hear it, but wonder how it would sound rocked out??)
signs - cinderella ( i think dilana has the perfect voice for this one)
    patience - gnr
silent lucidity - queensryche (would fall over and die if they sang this!)
untitled - simple plan (love love this song too)
    uninvited - alanis morrisette
    mother - pink floyd
    voices carry - til tuesday

that's all i thought up for now. there has been a lot of good suggestions in this thread too; wish mb would read it and get some better song choices!!

I'd like to hear more Depeche Mode on the show - maybe something like Personal Jesus, or heck, even Stripped.
    Gustav Holst was right!

    Um, Beatles, anyone?

I can't believe not one person wants to hear a Beatles song on this board! NOT ONE! Unbelievable.

Here's what I would want to hear if I were judging:

    Led Zeppelin--"Rock and Roll"
    Pat Benatar--"Heartbreaker"
    Aerosmith--"Sweet Emotion"
Doors--"L.A. Woman", "Love Her Madly", "Back Door Man"
Beatles--"Come Together", "Day Tripper", "Helter Skelter", "Hey Jude", "LSD", "Magical Mystery Tour", "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", "Revolution", "Taxman", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
Def Leppard--"Foolin", "Rock of Ages", "Photograph"
Motley Crue--"Girls, Girls, Girls", "Smokin in the Boys' Room"
    Rush--"Limelight"
Stevie Ray Vaughan--"Cold Shot", "Tightrope", "Couldn't Stand the Weather"
Creedence Clearwater Revival--"Down on the Corner", "Fortunate Son"
    Lynyrd Skynard--"Sweet Home Alabama"
Deep Purple--"Knockin' at Your Back Door"
Van Halen--"Ice Cream Man", "Hot for Teacher", "Unchained"

    and from their collective bands:
    Metallica:
    "Enter Sandman"
"Master of Puppets"--C'mon. You know you want to hear it!
    "Sad, But True"
    "Hero of the Day"

    G'nR:
    "Mr. Brownstone"
    "You Could Be Mine"
    "It's So Easy"
    "Welcome to the Jungle"

    Motley Crue:
    "Girls, Girls, Girls"
    "Dr. Feelgood"
    "Looks that Kill"
