Not at all. In fact I didn't like J.D. at all. IMO the fact that it is a new band will be anticlimatic.

For those who don't know, this guy is the one who refused to sing during the online episode, where Tommy and the band met the contestants in a studio and asked them to write and sing something impromptu.

He really looks like a JD "pretty-boy" wanna be. (and mind you, I hated JD--a JD wannabe is even worse).

His performance is... okay at best. Not horrible. Not great.

I have to admit when I first saw the name listed I tought it was the AI chick until I realized the last name wasn't spelled with 2 r's.

Great performance, I believed your passion in that song...audience dug it, I could tell, that was awesome. I like the versatility with the guitar, the only thing that got to me was looking down at the chords while you were singing...but the performance captured us and I appreciate that. Well done.

Only five us watching? This does not bode well for a show that if there was any justice in the world should be pounding AI into the ground, ratings wise (but won't).

What the heck is it about AI that draws viewers like sheep?

Is everyone watching the dumb show with Hasselhoff? Or that Shoobie-Doobie-Dance show?

So, I thought Ryan Star (as if that's his real name) sucked hosewater. His tone is weak, and it sounded like he was straining way too hard on some of those higher, louder notes.

Storm was pretty good and she has a look…but that Ryan guy…*yawn* (and he was a little off key there too.

Actually he might be better than MiG, who I was lukewarm about.
