Not as good a voice as Dana's, but better energy on stage. Both probably won't win, but they should deliver some good performances.

I thought vocally she was around a tie with Storm, with both Patrice and Dilana being slightly better. Dana was WAY in the back of the pack, because her theoretically decent voice didn't manifest at all.

You seem to be in a distinct minority when it comes to Dana's voice & vocal abilities. Even the producer commented her on her pitch & vocals. Maybe those airline speakers of yours are worn out. I liked both of these ladies & would place them both above the guys.

She was really bad today. I wan't crasy about her Joplin thing, although it was good to FINALLY hear someone do the song. I won't be sorry ot see her go.

That wasn't Joplin - that was Courtney Love.

I'm glad Dave called her BS. It was obviously a Courtney Love imitation. I'm glad she stopped short of pointing a shotgun at her boyfriend.

Nope. She did a Janis Joplin song in the performance I was talking about.

Then last night she did the Courtney Love thing.

I think she relies too much on screaming when she can't put intensity into her performance some other way. And it was amusing to hear her deny having gotten the bizarre bridal gown/bouquet thing from Courtney Love, then have Dave point out that it was on the COVER.

I really liked Jill's performance in the first show. She was one of my favorites, right after Dilana. But she really blew it last night. That was just awful.

It wasn't awful--it was what Love does too. The problem is that she dared lie about it to er... people who um... know Love personally. I mean THEY know Love--lord knows if she's sober often enough to remember THEM.

I have to disagree. It was awful. Love, as in Courtney, is awful, too.
