I was tempted to renew my love for JD tonight - he totally rocked the house. Loved it. Then came Marty. He never lets me down. He IS the music - I love that about him. Sorry, JD, gotta yank yer vote and send it to Marty.

    Bye-bye Jordis.
MiG - time to move on, like Dave said.
Suz - won't be singing for INXS but will have a great career.
    JD - see Suz above.

10pm west coast...Brooke - get back in bed - the night is too young for you to roll out of bed & go on live tv.

Yes I am so happy they showed JD's standing ovation as he sure deserved it.

West Coaster here... Show just started.

JD's version of Nirvana song was interesting, I'm glad I heard it once that way, but didn't necessarily dig it. However, it made an excellent partnership with the second song of his set. Loved "It Ain't Pretty"! The original songs are sometimes so "hurry up and finish singing this 'cuz it bores me", but I felt like I was ready to hear a lot more when he finished his original.

I loved JD's performance. Too bad he was the first.

Wow...just, wow. JD rocked that. His version of Nirvana was brilliant, and his original was great!!! I'm so glad he's back, and loved the little mic-stand kick in the end.

Oh my GOD. JD was HOT! I think Dave nailed it (for once) when he said it was like watching a stadium show. I almost forgot this was a competition.

I do think that Suzie is hindered by having to follow that much energy. She sounds great, but I was in the mood to keep it uptempo.

    Suzie:
I agree w/ all the TV viewers who thought she did a great job.
Also, I agree she has technically the best voice of everyone left.

My final comment is that I found her boring, and if this had been a TV show of just suzie singing, I would've changed the channel by now.

    Next.

P.S. I couldn't help remember Constantine's performance. I wish she would quit doing Constantine songs. He kills her on them.

    Here would be mine:

    1. Marty (my new favorite since last week)
    2. JD/Suzie (still can't decide who I like best)
    4. MiG
    5. Jordis

I'm off now to look at the videos again and then vote my little fingers off for my top choices.
    Seeking form amidst the void.

But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.
