That's awesome Lluvs! Thanks for sharing your story. I love the pictures of the t-shirts and the CDs. Unfortunately Marty and LH's CD was not available when they came to Vancouver for the concert. I hope they come back and I hope that I can get a chance for them to sign my CD too!

Apparently Lovehammers are not going on the Candian tour. I am actually happy about that and hope they set up some US dates by themselves soon so I can go to more concerts.

I just wanted to post this info here so that everyone who is interested sees it in time.

There are a whole lot of people who really want to see Marty back on TV with his band. So a petition has been started to help show The Late Late Show that we want Lovehammers on as musical guest.

You can go to Martyís Official site:
    http://www.martycasey.org
and click through to the petition there

or get directly to it here:
    http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/...nLateLateShow/

It is super quick and easy. You can remain anonymous if you wish and anyone in any country can sign.
The closing date is the night of 3/20/06.

    Thanks!

Marty: Chicago's eligible man about town?

Hey guys, Marty was named one of Chicago's most eligible singles and is featured in the July issue of CHICAGO magazine. There're some cool pix of him there:

    CHICAGO magazine

    Marty Casey, 32
    Musician
    Lives in: Beverly
Backstory: Long before Caseyís appearance on the reality show Rock Star: INXS ignited his music career, the Hickory Hills native worked as a commercial real-estate appraiser, putting his finance degree from the University of Illinois to good use. ďI was a weekend warrior,Ē he says. ďI was a musician only on the weekends.Ē Casey and his band, Lovehammers, are wrapping up a world tour opening for INXS.

Sweet, we keep the same hours and he likes Syd Barrett. I'm sure Marty won't have trouble finding a date, though most women probably don't like having to compete in the eyeliner department.
