I live in south-central Missouri, and this hot, humid weather has just been relentless! And the week ahead looks the same, maybe even worse. I have added a picture of our weather forcast for the week... but Monday is supposed to read 92, not 72. Glitches. Anyway, feel free to join in! The weather has been just crazy all over the country.

A lot cooler than it has been, but terribly humid. We're supposed to get a lot of rain starting this evening into Sunday.

It's been sunny but very cold (at least, for us Californians) - going down to low 40's to high '30's at night. Which normally isn't a problem. But last Wednesday night's HUGE wind storm knocked out most people's power. Unfortunately, it's late Sunday night now and we still don't have power. We're some of the last people to get it back. and it's really cold here. We're all bundled up. Californians have thin skin and not used to this.
We have a generator but use the power only for important stuff, like keeping things in the refrig cold. Can't use most stuff around here and my patience is truly running out. It seems as though California has so few emergencies that TPTB never are prepared for anything. Even a little rain causes problems.
