You're probably going to get the same storm I'm getting right now. They just said we will get another 5-6 inches of snow overnight.

    As usual its Hot
Unfortunately Cyclone season has begun and Northern Queensland has been battered. One town Innisfail has a population of 18,000 was the hardest hit by Cyclone Larry a category 5 with winds of up to 290kmh. While no one was seriously hurt, most of the residents had been evacuated, all the banana crops were wiped out, this is 90% of our banana supply. Bananas will be like gold. The same area is expecting another cyclone to hit soon but its only a level 2 at this stage.

Still snowing but it's light snow so maybe only another inch or so expected before it finally ends. I'm waiting for a report on how much we actually got, they got almost 20 inches in Columbus and Norfolk NE which is to the west and northwest of us.

This morning the sun was shining and it was beautiful weather, cold but beautiful. Now, in the afternoon, well if it was raining I would say it's raining cats and dogs, but it's snowing. So boring, I really want spring to come.

    Snow Day

We officially got 17 inches of snow in this storm. Here's some pictures I took, the last one was taken last night looking out my back door.

This snow is perfect for snowmen. It's really wet and heavy, I made some snowballs for the dogs to chase and it was perfect. Dolly couldn't do it though, the snow is over her head.
