I wasn't paying close enough attention. We now have 2 advisories. The one I posted earlier, and this new one:

Quote:
Severe Weather Alert from the National Weather Service

...ALLEGAN-BARRY-KENT-MUSKEGON-OTTAWA- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF... GRAND HAVEN... GRAND RAPIDS... HASTINGS... HOLLAND... MUSKEGON 223 PM EST TUE JAN 6 2004
... BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT AND HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A BLIZZARD WARNING. STRONG WINDS AND SNOW WILL COMBINE TO CREATE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS INTO THE EVENING. WIND GUSTS WILL FREQUENTLY BE AROUND 35 MPH AND CREATE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO NEAR ZERO. IN ADDITION... THE WIND WILL REDUCE WIND CHILL VALUES INTO THE 5 TO 15 BELOW ZERO RANGE.

REMEMBER... A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT OR HIGHLY LIKELY. FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND EXTREMELY POOR VISIBILITIES WILL OCCUR.

It's dropped to 22 degrees, with biting wind and reduced visibility, and the Ohio River is cresting pretty high.

My temps: It's 9(-13 C) degrees outside and feels like -5(-21 C)! 36(2 C) is supposed to come later this week, that should feel warm! And to me, 36 is bitter cold!

Tomarrow is supposed to have a high of -2(-19 C) I hate the cold, why is it even COLDER than usual? It hasn't been this cold in a few years, it could've stayed away, you know.

Where are the Cali and Florida people? Let's here what their temps are so I can be more jealous
