I was drinking a big glass of cold water, but after I set the glass down on the floor by the couch my Golden Retriever came over to visit me and wagged her tail over my glass. Now my water is topped by a layer of dog hair.
So I'm not having anything right now.

[QUOTE=Marleybone;1926791] If anybody put ketchup on my French Toast I would have to kill them.

    QUOTE]

Believe me, Marley, with all that I wouldn't put ketchup on it. When I make it at home it is simply egg, milk, salt and pepper. Nothing fancy. I do like french toast your way too, but when I was growing up we didn't have it for breakfast, more like a quick supper. By the way my mother eats it that way too.

    Just finished 8 shrimp cocktail.

Just a glass of water. We'll be going out for dinner at our favourite local restaurant soon. I'm thinking shrimp penne with cheesy garlic bread and a glass of Chardonnay.

Your recipe would make more sense with no sweetness to it. I think most of us think of French Toast as something sweet.

I'm having egg salad with dill on whole wheat bread.
