Right now: fresh strawberries. In a couple of hours I'll start making my fabulous version of Spaghetti Bolognese with minced meat, mushrooms, zuccini, canned cherry tomatoes and loads of garlic and oregano. Lots of parmesan cheese on top of course. I just might add a splash of red wine into the equation. My boyfriend's off at a three-day heavy metal festival (Mötley Crue's headlining tonight, and I must admit I'm a wee bit jealous that he gets to see them), so I need to make the solitude a bit more cheerful by preparing a good meal.

Last night I didn't make it in time to post, but at around 9pm, my parents showed up with 4 lobsters (they had gone to an all you can eat lobster fest). Of course, even though I had supper I could not resist, so my husband and I had a lobster each with cornmeal muffins. The last 2 lobsters are for my sister, but I was tempted to eat them also.

This morning I had a cold caffe latte and a nutribar.

Phat, you were drinking this at 7:45 a.m.???

I just had some red grapes and coffee. I spent 14 hours traveling yesterday and was sick to my stomach all day, so I'm easing back into the whole "drinking (and eating)" thing.
