Oh, not a good idea. I can deal with watching Rocco on this show, where his unctuousness is at least mitigated by the presence of other personalities, but I don't think he has enough personality to carry this type of show on his own.

I saw him on Oprah, cooking in his own kitchen. He seemed fairly interesting. Maybe he will have guests on the show that will help him carry it.

ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.
But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.
Maybe it was supposed to be uncutenous. It not, then I don't know either. Maybe he can have a cooking show with guests but, a regular talk show would not be a good idea at this time.Originally Posted by Wenders
Unctuous is the perfect word for Rocco, so I'm including a definition.
From Merriam-Webster:
Main Entry: unc·tu·ous
Pronunciation: '&[ng](k)-ch&-w&s, -ch&s, -shw&s
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French or Medieval Latin; Middle French unctueux, from Medieval Latin unctuosus, from Latin unctus act of anointing, from unguere to anoint
1 a : FATTY, OILY b : smooth and greasy in texture or appearance
2 : PLASTIC
3 : full of unction; especially : revealing or marked by a smug, ingratiating, and false earnestness or spirituality

I saw Rocco on "The View" today. Served linguini to the "girls".
Maybe he should just stick to playing with Ginsu knives!
