AJane, you're coming into the stretch as far as AI goes-how do you feel about the season? It seems like everyone is too concerned about the contestants and not about the wonderful narrators. I've enjoyed your recaps and jokes and observations! Let's all join in on a "hey" and a "woot woot" and a "'tsup"!! Thanks for great recap!!!

I'm really disappointed in the weak talent pool this season. I saw some people during the audition round that would have made great top 12 material, and added some much-needed diversity. It's what made Season 4 (Carrie Underwood's season) so entertaining - we had a top 2 who were completely different (Carrie and Bo), yet the talent wasn't sacrificed in exchange for someone who had a certain "look".
It was interesting for me that Elliott Yamin was a guest star this past week, because I wasn't a fan of his during last season, but I would have given an arm for him to be a contestant this round.
