Wow, Karen was so rude. First for pitching a fit, and then telling Kroy to F-off in his home (and on his wedding day). I would have had her leave too. I liked Kroy trying to explain to kar-azy that his own mother had used the porta-potty, along with the fact that their son was sleeping. She was so intent on getting her way she couldn't be reasoned with. Hopefully some of the people bad mouthing the choice to kick the mother of the bride out will watch and see that it was warranted. If she wanted to be treated respectfully she should have acted respecfully.

I thought Kroy and Kim were so sweet together. And he seems so sweet with her girls too.

Well, this show proved the old adage that you can pick your friends, but not your relatives.

Karen was BEYOND nasty and hateful, and I don't blame Kim for having her escorted out. Also, I liked the way Kroy took up for her when he found out what was going on and let Karen know that even HIS mother, sister, etc., were not using the house bathrooms. That only made Karen look even MORE ridiculous. Also, his: "Did you enjoy that?" when Karen and Kim's aunt came out of the bathroom, was priceless. And I was howling even more when Security was kicking Karen out of the place.

Nope, still don't like Kim's daddy.

Yep, I thought Kroy's mom was a sweetheart. And when his mom said to him on the dance floor: "You love her, so I know I'll love her, too!" (or words to that effect), made me tear up and resent Karen even more for how she behaved before and during the wedding ("I'm gonna be SICK on your wedding day!" --- even though Kim had that one coming --- the Great Shoe Hunt and The Porta-Potty Blowup, among other things).

And I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but all those over-the-top wedding duds WORKED on Kim! The WIG worked! As beautiful as her real hair is, I have to say that her usual wig look worked better with that whole outfit, because it WOULD have been too much of a shock to have seen her real hair, instead. And, honestly? The longer hair DID provide a tasteful frame/coverup for a lot of her boobage, I thought. Which was good. The only single thing I DIDN'T like about her outfits was the little fan veil that stuck out of the top of her second wedding veil. But even that worked for her look, too.

And yep, I shed a few at the wedding, too. It was lovely. Kroy obviously worships the ground Kim walks on, and at the end of the day, isn't that what we ALL want? And she's found it. Good for her! And the love he feels for her girls was clearly apparent and real, too.

I hope they'll continue to be as happy as they were on their wedding day!

it is pretty obvious to me that Kroy genuinely does love her. And I love that he treats her girls like they were his own. I hope they have a lifetime of happiness together.

Her mom was just beyond awful. I think part of it comes from not being able to participate in the planning, etc, like a traditional mother of the bride. and part of it is her needing so bad to be the center of attention. I don't see Kim and her mom making peace any time soon

In defense of the mother, I do think it was a cascading misunderstanding. Someone that stands up for someone else or assists someone else is usually seen as a good person. She thought she was helping her sister from out of town get to use the bathroom. She is not use to Kroy who is very regimented. That is how he got to be where he is today. I have seen the porta facility at the beach. So I know it is not like the nasty porta potty boxes. They manage to stay pretty clean even without someone watching them...cleaner than an average restroom.

That was a day that cannot be redone. So I do feel bad for Karen and Joe......And you know the lack of food really robs Karen of ordinary brain function. LOL

I think it was all very nice. The dresses suited Kim's different style. The price tag of $50,000 for the main dress I think was way out of line. There are many many dresses out there. But I guess that was "the one."

What a family! There's just no substitute for good judgment, no substitute for brains- Skim, her mother, father- the three of them are out of their collective element, trying to live the upscale life. Skim obsesses about trivial nonsense, but ignores important elements of organization. The mother is beyond creepy.

Gotta admit, since you brought it up (and I thought about it after you DID), the only OTHER thing that I DIDN'T like about Kim's wedding outfits/looks (so that makes TWO things, total!) was the wig with the jumpsuit, either. The way it was swept over to the side, it just looked so "wiggy", to me, from the side and back. Her natural hair at it's natural length probably would've looked better with that outfit, I think. And thank GOD the designer raised the sides of the halter so no "side boob" was visible. I WONDERED if they were going to take care of that!

Still think the wigs worked great with the first two veiled outfits, though. And I am yet amazed that I found myself getting on board with that. Simply because, when Kim showed her real hair, I was with Derek and Niki in thinking she should've just worn her real hair to walk down the aisle in, and for afterwards. Kim's got fantastic hair, but, after seeing her in all three outfits, I feel that unless Derek had put in some extensions, the original length of her natural hair wouldn't've worked as well with the first two outfits.

Just an observation/opinion.
