Forgot to add loved Jason & Bethenny in the store getting into the bed & the Matt "grinding" moment. Bethenny really was doing too much.

I wonder why a boy as sensible as Max seems to be wears that atrocious hair. I think Bethenny is demanding and rude. If she doesn't like the wedding planner, who's forcing her? Get rid of him. She wants the Four Seasons at the last minute? Well, I'm sure Bravo can make that happen. Why didn't you say that before we wasted our time with the white room? Way too contrived, this show.

I have always really liked Bethenny, but not so much last night. She was rude to Max, the wedding planner and Jason. Her diva behavior at the JCC event about pushed me over the edge. I realize she is busy and pregnant, but not sure I'm up for a season of Bethenny the Diva.

I thought there was a stark contrast between what her assistant promised her and what he delivered. In his interview he promised to provide her with what she needed even before she knew she needed it. He was big on anticipating her needs. His performance at the Jewish gathering was pathetic. If I was Bethenny, I would have been upset too. When you escort someone to an event like that, you have to get them in smoothly and out as quickly as possible, without allowing people to abuse them.

In last night's episode, I finally saw why Bethenny is the way the she is. You could feel the pain and the hardened heart when she spoke about her mother. She said her mom was mean and could not be happy for her. Can you imagine growing up with a mom like that? No wonder, Bethenny is so harsh and guarded. I'm glad she's in therapy so the cycle won't be repeated with Bryn.

I was shocked to find out that Bethenny had been married years earlier. I never knew that.

    Re: Bethenny Getting Married?

Last night was the first time I watched the show, and I don't watch RHoNY, so I didn't know much about Bethenny. I like her! I think she had reason to be annoyed with Max and the wedding planner ... Max for not doing his job well at the JCC, and the wedding planner for not paying attention to what she said she wanted. (Yes, the Four Seasons with only four weeks' notice is tough to book, but he didn't even try until she dragged him there, he lied about being familiar with the place, argued with her about the tables, and made far too many faces when he didn't like what she said ... I would have gotten rid of him if possible.) I think she's really funny and clever, if not a bit hyper ... but hormones can wreak havoc! Jason seems like the perfect guy for her ... very patient and calm. Why can't I find a guy like that?

She has 2 books to write/edit, wedding to plan, 2 or 3 businesses to run, new assistant to train, in laws to meet and entertain, all on top of a pregnancy with complications. Her hormones are whacked out due to the pregnancy, not to mention other life issues and it was during this time that her former bff was vile to her in the press.

I'm cutting her some slack. And it was a nice change to have Bethenny without dealing with mean girl drama from the other couch.

Best part of the whole episode to me was her mother in law accompanying her to find the dress.

    Re: Bethenny Getting Married?

The whole wedding business was for the cameras. That is one HUGE stressor she could have postponed or handled without a grand production. When it's your second wedding, you're pregnant and you're not an idealistic young woman anymore, big weddings are all for ego and, in her case, for the cameras. Wah, wah, wah. Poor Bethenny. She's crying all the way to the bank. Why sign on for two books when you know you've a wedding and a baby coming? Maybe one book is enough for this year. Celebrities writing books is not like us sitting down and writing a book word for word ourselves. She gives interviews and someone else does the hard work for her. I don't think anyone could humanly do all that she supposedly does, so she's got to be outsourcing a lot of her work.

    Re: Bethenny Getting Married?

I thought she was being too much of a diva last night. I cut her slack due to the pregnancy, but she does go overboard with her insensitive comments.
The ones to her husband and Max were uncalled for. Why comment on his hair, when you wear a da*n tutu to your housewarming and look like a beached whale at a ballet? And, why make mean comments to Jason about the training of Cookie. Calling a spouse stupid is unforgivable, IMO, whether it's on a reality show or IRL. I agree with the poster upthread, too, that there was too much deiva behavior at the JCC event.
I did like the bonding with the mother in law. That was sweet.
I can do without the therapist every week. I still think she paints herself as too much of a victim.
I can understand she had problems with the wedding planner - most people do at times.
But, if she thought she could do it so much better, why did she not just do it herself?

That wedding planner was awful! I'd have fired him the second I saw that white room....in his case, she's being WAY too nice to him. Did you hear some of the stuff he said? When she mentioned she was thinking about a red bouquet, he goes "I don't like red. I think it should be white." When she mentioned she wanted smaller tables at the reception, again he came up with "Well I don't like that..." I'm not sure he understands that it's not HIS wedding he's planning!
